The patron saint of Cagli is Saint Gerontius, celebrated on 9 May; the co-patron is Saint Rainerius.
The Palio storico - Giuoco dell'Oca, a historically inspired event of a goliardic character, is held every second Sunday of August, dedicated precisely to the town's patron. The Pipe Festival, organised by Pipa Club Italia, brings to town a fair devoted to the world of pipes, with direct displays from producers and merchants. The town also holds the Church of San Bartolomeo and the Church of San Domenico.
