Feast of Saint Constantius
📅 Every year, on 22 September
On 22 September Vignolo celebrates Saint Constantius; one of the village's churches bears his name.
Vinoleum was the old name, and it spoke of land rich in grapes and walnut oil. The centre still has its medieval layout, with religious frescoes painted on the fronts of the houses.
The rest is told by legends. Petitmenin, a goblin who sows mischief and muddle, is said to roam the woods and the lanes; and under the mountain, they say, a dragon sleeps, which has given its name to a footpath.
