The patrons of Toritto are Saint Roch and Our Lady of Grace, celebrated on the first Sunday of September.
The patronal feast was instituted in 1724 after the end of a typhus and «cane blight» epidemic that had struck the town. A triumphal cart, twelve metres tall, is paraded in procession. On the third Sunday of June, instead, the feast of Santa Maria degli Angeli di Quasano is held, with a procession of decorated carts carrying panelle, blessed breads distributed to the faithful. The town also holds the Castello di Toritto and the Church of the Madonna della Stella.
