On 15 and 16 August Rignano Garganico holds the patronal feast in honour of Maria Santissima Assunta (Assumption of Mary), patroness of the parish and of the mother church of the same name, and of San Rocco, patron of the church of the same name at the entrance to the village.
On the five Saturdays of Lent devotees make a pilgrimage on foot, walking down from Rignano along the mule track and singing the Rosary in dialect; on the first Tuesday after Easter the Madonna di Cristo is celebrated, in the small ancient sanctuary (10th century) in the place of the same name, 8 km from Rignano.
