The patron of Parabita is the Madonna della Coltura, celebrated with the civil feast on the fourth Saturday, Sunday and Monday of May, in the sanctuary Basilica of the Madonna della Coltura; the liturgical feast, instead, falls 15 days after Easter.
The calendar of feasts continues with Saint Anthony of Padua on 13 June, Saint Aloysius Gonzaga on 21 June, Saint John the Baptist on 24 June and, in July, «Teatriamo», a dialect theatre festival. The town also holds the Church of San Giovanni Battista and the Archaeological Area of Parabita.
