The patron of Cursi is Saint Nicholas the Bishop, celebrated on the second-to-last Saturday of May.

On the second Sunday of July and the following Monday, Our Lady of Abundance is celebrated, to whom the Shrine of Maria SS. dell'Abbondanza is dedicated; the fourth Sunday of July brings the Sagra del Pane bread fair, also at the shrine.
