The patron of Sannicola is Our Lady of Grace, celebrated on 8 September in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
In the last third of May, the Rito dè Lu Masciu (of May) is held, a tribute to spring and a propitiatory rite for fertility and the regeneration of the land: on this occasion, young couples seal their marriage promises by exchanging trays of fresh fruit. The weekend of the second Sunday of May also sees the celebration of Saint Nicholas, and on 28 May the Madonna della Consolazione. The town also holds the ancient Abbey of San Mauro and the Torre dell'Alto Lido.
