The patron of Faggiano is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March.
In the rock-cut setting of the La Campana district, a Living Nativity is held every year, with over a hundred performers reproducing, in traditional costume, scenes of peasant life from the Ionian tradition: the event has been awarded several times. The territory also holds the Crypt of San Nicola, carved around the year 1200 into a cave. The town also holds the main Church of Santa Maria Assunta.
