Among the patrons of Fragagnano is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 13 and 14 March.
In his honour, the traditional agricultural fair is kept alive, with a notable display of local craft goods and mechanical equipment that has replaced the old exhibition of draught and working animals. The town's other patron, Saint Anthony of Padua, is instead celebrated on 12 and 13 August. The town also holds the Chiesa Madre and an underground olive mill.
