The patron of Jerzu is Saint Erasmus, celebrated on 2 June in the Church of Sant'Erasmo Vescovo e Martire.
The town's most important feast, however, is that of Saint Anthony on 13 June: the saint's statue is carried in procession from the church of San Sebastiano, in the upper part of the town, to his rural chapel. On the first Sunday of August, the Sagra del Vino is also held, as part of the Jerzu Wine Festival, organized by the Pro Loco and the Cooperativa Antichi Poderi. The town also holds the Orta sa Mela nuraghe.
