The feast in honour of the patron saint, San Bartolomeo (24 August), lasts three or four days. The religious celebrations begin on the eve with a cycle of prayers, while the civil ones are entrusted to the fifty-year-olds and twenty-five-year-olds of the Comitato S. Bartolomeo e Ss. Salvatore.
On 19 January, for San Sebastiano, the celebrations begin with the preparation of 'su fogadone', the bonfire, in the two districts of the historic centre, with the distribution of typical sweets and the first wines of the season. On 24 June, for San Giovanni, the Mostra regionale dei formaggi ovi-caprini della Sardegna is also held; in October Cortes Apertas takes place, part of the Autunno in Barbagia circuit.
