The patroness of Tiana is Sant'Elena (Saint Helena), celebrated on 18 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di Sant'Elena Imperatrice.
Tiana also celebrates San Leone Magno, to whom a country chapel was dedicated, destroyed and recently rebuilt: the celebrations take place in the second week of September and open with a procession in which the saint's statue travels through the village streets on a decorated cart drawn by oxen, accompanied by the people of Tiana in costume and on horseback. On the evening of 16 January, for Sant'Antonio, a priore organises the lighting of the bonfire and prepares wine and 'sa panemanna', a sweet made specially for the occasion, for everyone.
