The patroness of Talana is Saint Martha (santa Marta), celebrated on 29 July; the feast is held twice a year, at the end of July and on the first Sunday of September.
The Chiesa di Santa Marta, built in the early twentieth century on the remains of a nineteenth-century place of worship, keeps some wooden statues from the 16th century. The most important festival in the village, however, is that of sant'Efisio (Saint Ephysius), on the first Sunday of May, at the country church on the border with the territory of Lotzorai.
