The Peloritani mountains form the backdrop for Limina, a small Sicilian municipality of 900 residents in the Metropolitan City of Messina. Known locally in Sicilian as *Lìmmina*, this mountain settlement lies 35 kilometres southwest of Messina.
Integrated into the Agrò Valley district and the local union of Ionian-Peloritani municipalities, Limina shares borders with neighboring towns such as Forza d'Agrò, Antillo, and Casalvecchio Siculo. Palermo sits approximately 170 kilometres to the west.
