The patron of Bolognetta is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 13 June with a procession. During the Estate Bolognettese the procession is repeated together with the vulata di l'ancili, the flight of the angels: two girls of about nine, suspended on two wires run between two balconies overlooking via Roma, sing the hymn to the patron saint.
The town's festive calendar also includes other appointments: the feast of Saint Joseph, on 19 March, with its characteristic communal table, and the Epiphany at the casa contadina, on 6 January, a living nativity scene recreating the arrival of the Magi in an early-20th-century rural setting.
