The patron saint of Vita is Saint Vitus, celebrated on 15 June.
On 19 March, in the neoclassical Church of the Purgatorio, devotional altars to Saint Joseph are set up, with bread and laurel. The first week of August has instead hosted, since 1996, the Città di Vita International Folklore Festival, which every year brings folk music and dance groups from Sicily, other Italian regions and abroad. The town also holds the Church of Maria Santissima in Tagliavia and the Church of San Francesco.
