The patron of Malles Venosta is Mary Most Holy Assumed into Heaven, celebrated on 15 August in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta.
The town holds Marienberg Abbey, among the highest in Europe, and two castles, Castel Fröhlichsburg and Castel Fürstenburg.
