The patron of Campagnatico is Saint John the Baptist, celebrated on 24 June in the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista.
On the first Sunday after 8 September, the Nativity of Mary, comes the feast of the Santissima Madonna delle Grazie, with the Palio dei Ciuchi (donkey race), established in 1957 and preceded by a medieval costume parade. Afterwards, the winning contrada members gather beneath the Palazzo del Comune to receive the painted banner, modelled on the Palio di Siena. The town holds the Castello di Stertignano and the Colonne della Sabatina.
