The patron of Bosco Chiesanuova is Saint Vitalis, celebrated on 29 January.
It is said that, in the first half of the 19th century, during a period of severe drought, the people of Bosco made a pilgrimage to San Vitale di Roverè Veronese to pray for rain, which arrived upon their return. Every summer, the town hosts two major festivals: Voce, dedicated to choral music, in July, and the Lessinia Film Festival, dedicated to mountain cinema, in the last week of August. The town also holds the Shrine of the Beata Vergine Addolorata.
