On 15 August Selva di Progno celebrates the feast of the Assunta (Assumption of Mary), patron of the parish church of the same name, preceded by a three-day preparation. The procession of the Assunta takes place in the afternoon, while the pro loco organises the civil part of the festival.
On the first Sunday of October the Festa del Derlo is held, devoted to the typical basket that tradition says was used to carry firewood on the shoulders. On the first Sunday of July, a procession with the statue of the Madonna fulfils a vow shared with the people of Velo Veronese.
