Saint Peter, patron of the town Alessandro Rossi transformed with wool
📅 Every year, on 29 June
Schio celebrates Saint Peter on 29 June in the duomo dedicated to him, atop the Gorzone hill; but the town is above all linked to Alessandro Rossi, who in the mid-19th century turned the family wool mill into Italy's largest textile business.
