The patron of Fano Adriano is Saint Valentine, celebrated on 14 February.
As in other villages of the Teramo Apennines, the population decline was caused above all by emigration towards Rome, northern Italy, the United States and Canada, which peaked between the 1950s and 1960s; the territory holds the Eremo dell'Annunziata, the Chiesa dei Santi Proto e Giacinto and Monte Corvo.
