The patron saint of Roseto degli Abruzzi is Our Lady of the Assumption, celebrated on 15 August.
Since 1996 the town has hosted Roseto opera prima, a film festival dedicated to first-time directors, while since 1997 the Soundlabs Festival has been held every August, a rock and pop music event initially known as «Suoni dal Sottosuolo» and renamed to its current name in 2003. The town also holds the Church of Maria Santissima Assunta, the church of the Sacred Heart and that of San Rocco.
