The patron saint of Fontainemore is Saint Anthony the Abbot, celebrated on 17 January, with the church dedicated to him. Every five years the procession from Fontainemore to Oropa is held, a tradition first recorded as early as 1557 and perhaps the oldest Marian procession in the Aosta Valley; in local tradition it is also known as «Eunna neuit à Boures de Gris», a patois expression recalling a night spent along the way.
The town also preserves a 13th-century bridge over the Lys stream and lies near the Mont Mars nature reserve, which has its own visitor centre, as well as Lake Bonnel and Lake Vargno.
