The patron saint of Rotondella is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 13 June. The church dedicated to him belongs to the Franciscan convent of the Zoccolanti, built in 1652: it was inhabited by monks until 1862, when under the Siccardi law it became state property. It holds a beautiful polychrome marble altar and statues depicting Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Paschal Baylon and Saint Rose of Lima.
The mother church, dedicated to Santa Maria delle Grazie, holds inside wooden statues of the Immaculate Conception, of the Madonna delle Grazie and of Saint Anthony himself. Today's urban settlement dates from the early 16th century, under the rule of Ferrante Sanseverino, Prince of Salerno, who had the baronial palace and the castle built, of which today only the so-called Torre di Sanseverino remains, also known as the Torre del Carcere for its use as a prison: today the tower, still intact, houses the municipal library and the town's historical archive.
