The patron saint of Rapone is Saint Vitus the martyr, celebrated on 15 June, in the church of San Vito Martire. The title of mother church of the town instead belongs to a different building, that of San Nicola Vescovo, a sign of two distinct devotions, that of the patron saint and that of the main parish's dedicatee, which have coexisted throughout Rapone's religious history.
The town also preserves the church of Santa Maria ad Nives and that of the Sacro Cuore. Among its historical peculiarities is also the Museo CERA, dedicated to the memory of the local Cooperativa Elettrica Rapone e Andretta, while in the past Rapone was served by the Rapone-Ruvo-San Fele railway station, on the Avellino-Rocchetta Sant'Antonio line.
