The patron of Montauro is Saint Pantaleon, celebrated on 5 February and 27 July, to whom the Chiesa di San Pantaleone is dedicated.
On either side of the church's entrance portal two frescoes depict the arrival of the saint's relics, with the detail of the village and of the Grangia, and the procession towards Montauro; the town also has the Museo parrocchiale di San Pantaleone and the Chiesa della Madonna della Conella.
