The patron of San Pietro Apostolo is Saint Peter the Apostle, celebrated on 29 June; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Pietro Apostolo. The calendar of feasts includes the feast of the Madonna del Carmelo, from 14 to 16 July, and that of the Madonna della Lettera, on the last Sunday of September.
The Cherry Festival, organised by the Pro Loco that devised it, is held on the last or second-to-last Sunday of June and welcomes thousands of visitors. At Christmas time 'A Strina is performed, a song of good wishes and of begging: the «strinari», a group of people with various instruments, sing and play in front of friends' houses to wish them a happy new year and to receive in return salami, cheeses, sweets and wine.
