The patrons of Gerace, the Calabrian hill town with the region's largest cathedral
📅 Every year, on 23 August
Gerace celebrates its patrons on 23 August; the hill town, perched on a rocky spur of Ionian Calabria, still preserves today its Norman castle and the co-cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, along with four of the twelve ancient gates of its walls.
