The traditions of Scido are above all tied to religious celebrations, and the most important is the feast of Saint Blaise, celebrated on 3 February with a solemn procession of the saint's statue through the streets of the town; the Chiesa di San Biagio is dedicated to him.
The other feast of the year is that of Maria Santissima della Catena, on the last Sunday of August, in the hamlet of Santa Giorgia.
