The patron of Castelfranci is Saint Nicholas of Bari, celebrated on 8 and 9 May: custom calls for religious services, brass bands and evening entertainment on both days; the Chiesa di San Nicola is dedicated to him.
On the first Sunday of August Santa Maria del Soccorso is celebrated, in the square of the church of the same name, which has an 18th-century façade with three portals and two canvases by Matteo Vigilante; the Wine Festival, launched by the municipality in 2010, is held in the last week of August at the Bosco Baiano Basso («Palata») and during the Immacolata long weekend with the «Notte re la Focalenzia», the Night of Fires.
