The patron of San Marco dei Cavoti is Saint Mark the Evangelist, celebrated on 25 April in the Church of San Marco Evangelista.
Since 2001, the Festa del Torrone e del Croccantino has been held, featuring the making of a giant nougat. Saint Diodorus is also venerated in the mother church, celebrated on the second Sunday of September, with his own confraternity active since the 18th century. The town also holds the Museum of Tower Clocks, founded in 1997, and the Villa Comunale.
