The patron of Giano Vetusto is Sant'Antonio da Padova, celebrated on the second-to-last Sunday of August.
The patronal feast includes the traditional solemn triduum; at the end of the triduum the procession of the saint sets off from the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church) and passes through almost all the streets of the municipality. The municipality also holds the Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena, Chiesetta di San Filippo, the Monte La Costa and the Torre Pizzuta.
