The patron of Roccamonfina is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on the last Tuesday of May. The same feast is renewed on the last Sunday of August.
Between the 14th and 15th centuries the town gained importance with the establishment of a weekly market, from 1352, and an annual fair. In 1618 it came into the possession of Elena Aldobrandini, niece of Pope Clement VIII. The town also holds the Shrine of Maria Santissima del Lattani and the Hermitage of Monte Atano.
