The patron of Albanella is Saint Sophia, celebrated on 15 May in the Church of Santa Sofia.
To the left of the church's main façade stands an imposing red-brick bell tower, built with financial contributions from all Albanella's residents and inaugurated by Bishop Domenico Savarese on 14 May 1955, the eve of Saint Sophia's feast. The town also holds the Borgo San Cesareo and the Bosco Camerine nature reserve.
