The patron of Cicerale is Saint George, celebrated on 23 April and, as a votive feast, on 19 August, to whom the Chiesa di San Giorgio is dedicated.
The municipality of 1,233 inhabitants in the province of Salerno also holds the Chiesa di San Nicola di Bari, the Cappella Sant'Anna and the Cappella Sant'Elia, while among the sites of its territory are Monte Farneta and the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.
