The patron saint of Gambettola is Saint Giles the Abbot, celebrated on 8 September.
The Gambettola Carnival, a spring carnival celebrated since 1886 on Easter Monday and the following Sunday, brings numerous papier-mâché floats through the town. In November, the Hemp Fair is held, while «Arrivano dal mare!» is the town's International Puppet Festival. The town also holds the Monument to the Rag Collector and the church park of Gambettola.
