The patron of Sarsina is Saint Vicinius, celebrated on 28 August in the Basilica di San Vicinio.
It is said that La Catena (The Chain), kept in the basilica, is the saint's hand which, through his powerful intercession with God, grants grace to those who reach his altar in devout pilgrimage. The town also holds the National Archaeological Museum of Sarsina and the tripartite Roman temple, as well as the Shrine of the Madonna Pellegrina.
