The patron of Rio Saliceto is Saint George the Martyr, celebrated in April with the Sagra di San Giorgio, religious celebrations at the Church of San Giorgio Martire.
On the second Sunday of May, the Fiera di maggio is held, a trade fair with a funfair and cultural events; in early June, instead, Riomania takes place, a beer festival with food stalls and music events, which reached its thirtieth edition in 2022. On the second weekend of June, in Ca' de' Frati, the Sagra dei Grilli is held, a village feast tied to Saint Anthony of Padua. The town also holds the Teatro Comunale di Rio Saliceto.
