The patron saint of Ronchi dei Legionari is Saint Lawrence, celebrated on 10 August: during the patronal feast, the goodness prize is also awarded.
In 1906, the Canale de Dottori was laid out between Sagrado and Monfalcone, passing through Ronchi, which, thanks to power generated by small hydroelectric plants, no longer existing today, and a more rational irrigation system, gave the area a strong boost. In June, the Journalism Festival is held, promoted since 2015 by the cultural association «Leali delle Notizie», while in August the Pro Loco organizes «Ronchi sotto le stelle». The town holds the Church of the Santissima Trinità and the Cathedral of Ronchi dei Legionari.
