The patron saint of Minturno is Our Lady of Graces, celebrated on 1 September.
On the second Sunday of July, the sagra delle regne is held, a religious event dedicated to the same Madonna delle Grazie, with ancient origins dating back to pre-Roman times. The town is also known for the «pacchiana», the typical local women's folk costume, an unmistakable symbol of the town: awarded a prize in 1930 among five hundred folk costumes in competition, chosen as the most beautiful in Italy on the occasion of the wedding of Prince Umberto of Savoy and Maria José of Belgium in 1934, and winner of the first prize at the International Folklore Festival of Bogotá, Colombia, in 1981. Minturno also holds the Minturnae archaeological park and the church of San Pietro Apostolo.
