The feast of the patron, Saint James the Apostle (san Giacomo Apostolo), falls on 25 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Giacomo Maggiore.
The town's typical feast is the Festa dei Canestri, on 1 May, which is traced back to ancient Rome and has been reshaped over the centuries on Christian tradition: the women bearers, in peasant-era costume, carry the canestri, large cylindrical cones covered with flowers and ribbons, and parade in procession to greet the fine season. At the end of the procession and the liturgy the small loaves of the traditional aniseed braid (treccia all'anice), recognised as a typical product of the town, are handed out.
