The patron saint of Fonte Nuova is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March in the parish church dedicated to him.
In the hamlet of Tor Lupara, solemn celebrations are held every spring for the arrival of Our Lady of Fatima: the image, arriving by helicopter, is welcomed with a procession along Via Nomentana to the entrance of the parish church, where it remains on display for a week. The same hamlet also holds a parade of allegorical floats on Carnival Sunday, the «Tor Lupara in fiore» flower market on Palm Sunday, and the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in June, preceded by a procession for Corpus Christi. The municipal territory also holds the remains of a Roman villa and the Marcigliana nature reserve.
