Saint Roch, patron venerated in a sanctuary rebuilt after a fire

📅 Every year, on 16 August

Nettuno celebrates Saint Roch on 16 August; in 1914 a fire destroyed the church dedicated to him along with the throne of the statue of Our Lady of Grace, prompting the people of Nettuno to inaugurate the new sanctuary, still kept today by the Passionist Fathers.
