The patrons of Bossico are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Pietro e Paolo. Among its wooden works is the statue of the Madonna del Rosario by Andrea Fantoni, dated 1705, traditionally carried in procession on the first Sunday of October.
The potato-bread festival is held every first Sunday of August, with the courtyards of the old town opened and the old wood-fired ovens lit, to revive the tradition of home-made bread. Every fourth Sunday of September, together with Saint Eurosia, patroness of shepherds, the Festa dei Pastori is held, with the procession and the historic sheep auction; on the weekend of 1 May there is the cheese festival, from farmstead to farmstead.
