The patron of Colzate is Saint Maurice, celebrated on 22 September with religious and sporting events.
In mid-July the town holds another festive week, "Colzate in festa", with sporting, recreational and cultural events; the town also has its own anthem, written by Mario Moro and set to music by Alessandro Poli.
