The patron of Sarnico is Saint Maurus, celebrated on 15 January.
On the third Saturday of July, the procession of the Madonna di Stella Maris is held, accompanied by illuminated boats and a fireworks display. The last weekend of July sees the Sarnico Busker Festival, dedicated to street performers, while on 15 August the Bird Fair and Dog Show are held. The town also holds the Church of San Nazario and Villa Giuseppe Faccanoni.
