The patron of Veniano is Saint Anthony the Abbot, celebrated on 17 January in the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate: on the third Sunday of January, a procession and bonfire dedicated to the saint are held.
Saint Lawrence is celebrated instead on 10 August, with the celebration of Mass, the Faro rite and popular games. In the summer season, the «Giugno Venianese» and «Sagra Venianese» festivals are held in July, organized by the Corpo Musicale Venianese and the Pro Loco. The town also holds the Church of San Lorenzo and overlooks the Parco Lura.
