The patrons of Gombito are Saint Sixtus II and Saint Liberata (san Sisto II e santa Liberata), celebrated on 6 August; the municipality holds the church of Santi Sisto II e Liberata.
As in many towns and cities of the province of Cremona and the Lodi area, Gombito too has the ancient custom of celebrating the so-called «giorni della merla» (blackbird days), on 29, 30 and 31 January.
