The patron of Madignano is Saint Peter in Chains, celebrated on the first Sunday of August in the Church of San Pietro in Vincoli.
The annual Fiera del Marzale dates back to the 18th century: on Easter Sunday and Monday, the Resurrection celebrations were held with particular emphasis, drawing large crowds, which spontaneously attracted merchants and street vendors, giving rise over time to the fair. In 1934, due to the coincidence with the nearby Fiera della Pallavicina in Izano, the fair was moved. The town overlooks the Parco del Serio and holds the Shrine of the Beata Vergine del Marzale.
